Thank you so much for joining me in my little corner of the internet. This new endeavor is something I have dreamt of for a long time, so it means the world to me that you are here supporting me!

Allow me to properly introduce myself to those of you that I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet- my name is Alyssa Cannella, founder of XO Creative Co. I am a doodle dog mom, self-proclaimed book nerd, coffee enthusiast, and wine lover. That pretty much sums me up in a nutshell 😊

But, the real reason you are here is because I might have piqued your interest with my journey from 9-5er to embracing freelance freedom (or you’re my best friend, so in that case…hi Jess!!) 

I am on a journey (as they say on the Bachelorette) to leave my soul-sucking 9-5 in the past and embrace the freelance life full-time. And you know what? It’s fucking terrifying. But here we are. I am showing up for myself and my future.

Here's how this is going to work: 

I am going to give you a peek behind the curtain at the good, the bad, and the ugly of this journey. Each week, I will post about what I’ve been working on, what’s been going well and what hasn’t, and a key takeaway for the week. Basically, I’ll give you a look under the hood at my stream of consciousness that goes on inside my brain. 

Why should you care? Because you love me and want to see me succeed…duh!  Or maybe you have a dream too and we can push each other to make that shit happen. From the short time I’ve been working towards this I’ve realized that it can be a lonely road, so community is everything. I also truly believe in uplifting each other, so I want this to also be a space where we can share wins, struggles, resources…you name it.

So, friends, stay tuned. There’s a lot (a lot) more to come. I am so thankful you’re here and I can’t wait to make you proud!
